"Grandma's Pie" soy candle

You ask the bus driver to stop because you can already see your grandmother’s house. You walk into the yard, and the dog barks again—it has forgotten you since your last visit. And your grandmother is already happily coming out of the summer kitchen.

You shout "Hello," and she responds with an even longer, drawn-out "Hellooo." She hugs you, kisses you, and beams with joy. She calls you into the house. After a few general questions like "How was the trip?" and "What’s new?", she suddenly goes quiet, her eyes widening. The child must be fed immediately. She rushes to bring everything she’s prepared to the table.

And the smell of pies from the stove in the summer kitchen could be sensed back in the yard. They are already lying on the table, covered with a towel. The scent of cherries makes your head spin. You revel in this atmosphere.

You take a pie, sit on the bench by the kitchen, and watch your grandmother pouring water for the geese. They have flocked together, stretching out their long necks and drinking greedily, as if there wouldn't be enough for everyone.

“Well, are the pies any good?” she asks. And you just nod silently and keep eating.
